DIRECT SCHOOL ADMISSION TO MGS SECONDARY 1

The 2025 DSA-Sec exercise has ended. For parents or students interested to participate in the 2026 DSA-Sec exercise for the 2027 Secondary 1 intake, please look out for more updates on our school website by early May 2026. Thank you.

DSA-Sec provides a pathway for students to gain admission to MGS based on their interests, aptitude, and potential, beyond their performance at Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). Otherwise, students will take part in the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise, whereby admission is based on their PSLE results.

As MGS is a dual track school with both the Integrated Programme (IP) and Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) Programme, our DSA talent areas are applicable for both tracks. 

• The MGS IP is a six-year integrated programme that leads to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) in Years 5 and 6.

• The MGS SEC Programme is a four-year programme culminating in the Singapore-Cambridge SEC examinations, after which various post-secondary options are available.
